Concept piece for TheHiddenHistories © A Fairy Queen in Mantis Armour. I found an image of a Preying Mantis on Google; labeled for re-use and I just imagined the eyes like Leias' plats from StarWars. The Mantis arms looked like sleeves to me and I liked the idea that it was a bit like a bio Ironman suit. Your hands go in the sleeves and the boots and the upper back and arms form a hard exoskeleton around the fairy.
